SMALL GROUP UP TO 10 PEOPLE
Exploring the Cinque Terre by boat is one of the best ways to enjoy this region. You could decide to spend most of the time at sea with a bigger boat, or take a smaller one and be able to moor in the marinas of the villages.
Some boats depart from La Spezia port, some boats (the smallest) depart from the 5 Terre villages.
Please note that the marine area of the 5 Terre is part of the National Park that’s why boats are subjected to some restrictions for accessing the marinas and disembark passengers.
A day at sea is advised if you are more interested to sailing on a big boat: stop for swimming, snorkeling, lunch opportunity on board. In this case, you will be able to disembark just in Portovenere and Vernazza (moving into a smaller boat for landing).
Instead, if you prefer to visit some 5 Terre villages moving by boat between them, take a smaller boat only for 2/3 hours and move the rest of the day around the 5 Terre with a private driver or a local guide.

La Spezia, Vernazza, Monterosso, Portovenere, La Spezia. (8 hrs).
Arrival in La Spezia by motor-coach, soon jump on the big boat for a lovely ride through the Gulf of Poets as far as Potovenere: the naval base, the ancient fishermen villages, the mussels water farms. After Portovenere we start sailing along the rugged cliffs of the 5 Terre coast as far as Vernazza. Get off and visit the village with your local guide.
Afterward board again and sail towards Monterosso, here after the guided visit of the village enjoy some free time for lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, sail back to Portovenere and dedicate some time to visit this enchanting village before riding back to La Spezia.
